The University of Huddersfield wanted us to create a promotional film to showcase the facilities within the School of Art, Design and Architecture, to help sell the School’s facilities and courses to potential undergraduates. Encompassing all subject areas within the School, including Art and Design, Fashion and Textiles, and Architecture and the Built Environment, we spent three days filming across the departments three buildings. This gave us a chance to make the most of our new slider and crane equipment, and produce a film based on visuals alone, with no interviews or audio to consider. We edited the visuals to a temp track, and Sam then produced a soundtrack to reflect exactly what we needed.
